About 0 bits of entropy. Made in your browser; nothing is sent anywhere.
What makes a password strong
Length and randomness. A password chosen by a person follows patterns that attackers know well; a password chosen by a random number generator does not. Each extra character multiplies the number of guesses needed.
How this generator works
It draws every character with your browser's cryptographically secure random number generator, makes sure each type of character you ticked appears at least once, and shuffles the result. The entropy shown is the length times the bits each character adds.
Use each password once
A strong password used on two sites is only as safe as the weaker site. A password manager makes a new one for every account and remembers them all.
Never make up a password again
KeyCare Pass makes strong passwords, remembers them and fills them in for you.
Frequently asked questions
How long should my password be?
At least 16 characters for accounts a password manager fills for you; it costs you nothing to go longer.
Is it safe to generate a password on a website?
This page generates passwords in your browser with no network request involved, and the source of KeyCare Pass is public. Still, for your accounts, the generator inside KeyCare Pass saves the password straight into your vault.
