Terms of service
The terms for using KeyCare Pass.
Last updated 5 October 2026
These terms cover your use of KeyCare Pass, provided by GovPAM: the web vault at vault.keycarepass.com, the browser extension and the apps. By creating an account or using KeyCare Pass you agree to them.
Your account
You are responsible for your account and for keeping your master password safe. Your vault is encrypted with keys only you hold. GovPAM cannot see or reset your master password, and if you lose it, the data in your vault cannot be recovered unless your organization's account recovery policy covers you.
Acceptable use
Use KeyCare Pass lawfully. Do not use it to store or share content you have no right to, to send unsolicited messages, to attack or overload the service, or to get around its security or limits.
Organizations
When you join an organization, its administrators control the items they share with you and can set policies for your account. Their use of KeyCare Pass is also governed by their agreement with GovPAM.
Your data
Your data remains yours. The privacy policy explains what we hold and why. Export your vault at any time from Tools > Export, and delete your account from Account settings.
Availability and changes
We work to keep KeyCare Pass available and secure, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change features or these terms. Significant changes will be announced in the web vault or by email.
Liability
KeyCare Pass is provided as is. As far as the law allows, GovPAM is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from its use. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have by law.
Ending your use
You may stop using KeyCare Pass and delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
Open source
KeyCare Pass is built on open-source software. The source code of the KeyCare Pass server (AGPL-3.0) and apps (GPL-3.0) of every release that runs on vault.keycarepass.com is published at vault.keycarepass.com/source.
