Frequently asked questions

Which currency are the prices in?

South African rand. PayFast charges every plan in rand. If you pay by card, PayFast's payment page can show the amount in your own currency, and your bank converts it.

How do I pay?

By card or Instant EFT through PayFast. Your plan is a PayFast subscription: PayFast charges the same card every month or every year until you cancel.

Can I cancel at any time?

Yes, from your subscription page in the web vault. PayFast stops charging straight away, and your plan keeps working until the end of the period you paid for. After that you can still open, export or delete your vault in the web vault.

Is there a free plan or a free trial?

There is no free plan. Creating an account is free, but using the browser extension and saving items needs a plan. Free trials for business plans are on the way; until then, see how to start with your team.

Can I change the number of seats?

Yes, on Teams and Enterprise. Added seats work straight away and are charged from your next monthly payment. Fewer seats apply from the next payment, and you cannot go below the number of people who hold a seat.

What happens if a payment fails?

KeyCare Pass keeps working while PayFast tries your card again, and we email you. If the renewal still has not gone through 7 days after it was due, the plan ends. Update your card on the subscription page to avoid that.

Can we run KeyCare Pass on our own server?

Yes. Self-hosted organizations use a license from GovPAM, issued for your server. Ask us for prices and the server package.
